A nod to the liberty and justice for all we pledged every day in grade school, these muffins signature Ssere muffins are topped with strawberries, coconut flakes, maple-whipped cream cheese, and blueberries.

The Ssere Muffins were developed for those who tend to skip breakfast, which we definitely don't advocate! Since we believe honoring eating rhythm is of utmost importance (it sets up the metabolism for daily success), we created a muffin full of fiber (gluten-free oats), protein (eggs), potassium (banana), and healthy fats (Sicilian extra virgin olive oil). The Ssere Muffins are modestly sweetened with New York State maple syrup (the best) and we always include some vanilla powder (the whole vanilla powder ground up, resulting in a robust flavor unrivaled by the extract variety). There is also some Sicilian sea salt and gluten-free baking powder to round out our base muffin recipe. We change the flavor each week with the addition of fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts, spices and other fun elements.
