sesame lime tempeh salad

A Ssere take on the Chinese chicken salad, but vegan! Our crunch-tastic rendition is a perfect mix of shredded purple cabbage, savoy cabbage, carrots, scallions, basil, cilantro, mint and shiso. The tempeh is poached in toasted sesame, coconut aminos and lime juice, then gently stirred throughout the salad. Of course we include extra sesame lime dressing to toss the entire salad. This is the perfect salad to practice chewing  — which is of utmost importance since digestion actually begins in the mouth!
